This feature allows users to see exactly when dangerous weather conditions, such as storms, fires, hurricanes, flooding, and landslides, are expected as predicted by NOAA meteorologists.

Privacy is a top priority for Weather Strip. The app does not display ads, track user data, or use third-party analytics. Location data is stored locally on the device and only approximate locations are used when requesting weather forecasts.

Furthermore, Weather Strip is designed to optimize data usage. It offers optional background app refresh that adapts to user habits and allows users to view recent forecasts even when their connection drops.

The app offers a two-week free trial period, after which a minimal subscription price is required to support the continued operation of the service. Please note that not all features may be available in all locations. Forecasts are provided globally by Foreca and by the U.S. National Weather Service (NOAA NWS) within the United States. While forecasts typically cover 168 hours (7 days), they may occasionally be longer or shorter.
